DESCRIPTION

When the touring Australian Ashes party from 1993 played a tourist match with Northamptonshire, the county's sponsors' Dr. Martens arranged for the touring Australians to receive some boots and shoes. These are the original orders, hand written on a series of brown envelopes by the players themselves. The requests which were placed by the members of the squad who took up the offer and make this a very unique piece of memorabilia indeed, they included Shane Warne, Mark Waugh and Bob Simpson to name but a few.
